Dalmeny roadworks begin

Dalmeny roadworks begin

Eurobodalla Council crews will begin roadworks in Dalmeny on Tuesday in preparation for Council’s annual reseal program.

The pavement repair work will begin Tuesday 1 August at the Dalmeny Drive/Lakeside Drive intersection.

Work will progress south along Dalmeny Drive to the Princes Highway intersection and is expected to be complete by Monday 14 August, weather permitting.

Motorists are asked obey signage and take care when driving in the vicinity of the works.

The repairs will lay the groundwork for Council’s $1.7 million annual reseal program, which will reseal more than 80 local roads and car parks with bitumen throughout Eurobodalla in 2017-18. Resealing roads is vital to help protect the structural road pavements from moisture and provide good grip for improved road safety.

Dalmeny works scheduled in the coming year include the full length of the Beach Access Road and the Mummaga Lake footbridge car park Media Release
