This massive effort and the rewards of gold have come from absolute commitment and dedication which has taken Jaylah 5 years to get the podium in this event, rising from 13th last year to number 1 this year. Talking with the Beagle Jaylah paid tribute to the support she has received from ever supportive family, from her friends and those who stood by and believed in her and watched her develop. But most importantly she paid tribute to her coach Andae Kalemusic who has had such a positive effect on the performance of all the kids she coaches in the South East since moving to the area and offering her guidance and dedication. And most importantly Jaylah wanted to thank Tim at SPORTSFIRST in Moruya for sponsoring a pair of Asic GT running shoes, widely considered on of the World's best running shoes, for her to compete in in the upcoming Australian championships in Tasmania.
