Final Auditions for adult roles with the Red Door Theatre Company will be held this Wed 2 Aug 6pm for their Nov/Dec production of "Peter Pan: The Eurobodalla Chapters.
Auditions will be held at the Hall with the Red Door Moruya, next to Mechanics Institute. Auditions for children roles are next week.
The play is specifically written for the Eurobodalla, as the story of Peter Pan continues but with a local theme. Written by local resident and theatre director, Linda Heald, this will be the debut performance of this production and the second performance of the new Moruya Red Door Theatre.
With the play to be staged late November and early December the Red Door Theatre Company are inviting interested actors plus those interested in front and back of house to join them this Wednesday for auditions.
Peter Pan: the Eurobodalla Chapters Preview
Captain James Hook’s ship has been repossessed and he is in urgent need of some funds. Following a rumour about treasure in a place called Moruya, he kidnaps Wendy to lure Peter Pan into divulging the whereabouts of this treasure and heads south. Follow the fun and help answer some puzzling questions – like, why are the people of Moruya and Nerrigundah talking like pirates? Why is the crocodile talking about paprika? And, how did Narooma oysters get into the plot? Follow the adventures of Peter Pan in this swashbuckling adventure as he sets out to rescue Wendy, find the treasure, and deal with Hook once and for all.
