The Broulee Dolphins had three teams in action this weekend. All three teams came away winners with the U10 defeating Yass 33-25, the Under 12s defeating Royals 29-19 and the Under 16s defeating Canberra Grammar.
The weather was perfect for the Under 16s 12:30 kick off and after a hard start to the season the Dolphins were hungry for a win. Every team member played a fantastic 60 minutes of rugby, walking away with a 29 – 22 victory over Grammar.
Every ball and pass was hotly contested by each player with everyone giving and receiving hard hits before getting back up to keep on playing. Joe Parkin, Ethan Mass and Toby Polsen-Hoedt scored a try each and Shane Mass scored two tries. Christian Filmer had a great kicking game, converting twice and making some great ground for the team.
Supporters, parents, coaches and officials were all proud of the boys’ grit and determination today and everyone is looking forward to a strong run to the end of the 2017 season.
Next week all teams will be at home for the Dolphins Club Gala Day and Ball
