Moruya Forest Forum Aug 23rd

In light of the logging currently being undertaken on between Mogo and Malua Bay this Forum is good timing that might better inform the community of what is going on in our forests. Friends of Durras comment on their social media page that "The new Flora Reserves on the far South Coast between Bermagui and Tathra has led to the intensification of native forest logging in the Batemans Bay region including in Benandarah State Forest, Boyne State Forest, and North and South Brooman on the opposite side of the highway adjacent to Murramarang National Park. It is simply unacceptable that the Batemans Bay region forests are being targeted for yet more intensive logging which is destroying wildife habitat and effectively turning our wonderful forests into psudo plantations."

NOTE: Comments were TRIALED - in the end it failed as humans will be humans and it turned into a pile of merde; only contributed to by just a handful who did little to add to the conversation of the issue at hand. Anyone who would like to contribute an opinion are encouraged to send in a Letter to the Editor where it might be considered for publication
