Dear Beagle Editor
The population demographics of the Eurobodalla Shire includes a high percentage of older people, many reliant on mobility scooters to get about. There’s also a large number of the shires population who walk for exercise which means walking riding and scooter access to all areas of the shire is important and needed. Long Beach is a difficult area to access by scooter, walking or bicycle riding. As the present Batemans Bay bridge is dismantled once the new one is in service, perhaps some of the old bridge can be used to provide mobility and walking access over the Cullendulla Creek to Long Beach connecting Surfside for all who need proper and safe access in that area.
Above: Suggested that there could be a link from Surfside to Long Beach Superimposed is the Bay Bridge at the same scale and ... a scale of 200m showing how long the Batemans Bay Bridge is compared to the Cullendulla Creek opening.
Above: Lots to recycle here including steel and a possible foot bridge over Cullendulla Creek
Our engineering experts should have no trouble organising that should they ?
