A “Sentimental Journey" in Narooma Aug 19th


On Saturday 19th August at 2.30pm in St Paul’s Anglican Church Narooma, music lovers of the region will thrill once more to the beautiful voice of Louise Page, as she and pianist Phillipa Candy take a “Sentimental Journey" through some of music’s loveliest songs. Their program includes such delights as Marietta’s Lied, Roses of Picardy , Summertime, Deep River, Morgen and many more favourites. Louise Page is one of Australia’s most highly regarded and versatile singers, performing throughout Australia and Europe. Phillipa Candy is a highly respected musician - as an accompanist, conductor, pianist, teacher, repetiteur and vocal coach. The artistic partnership between Phillipa and Louise has produced many CDs, and a recent project with members of the Sydney Symphony Orchestra involved the recording of works by Horace Keats.
