Batemans Bay has a new Street Library.

Coastal Auto Group at The Bay have introduced their new Street Library at their down town premises on the corner of Beach Road & Orient Street, perfectly located for the passing pedestrian traffic to stop, drop off a book and pick up an new one.

"A Street Library is an invitation to share the love of reading. You can simply reach in and take a book that interests you and when you are done, you can pass it on to friends or return it. If you have a book that you loved and would like someone else to share the joy, you can pop it into the Street Library as you are walking past."

Street Libraries are becoming more widely spread across the Shire. Three have been in place in the Mossy Point/ Broulee area for some time and Tuross Head has had a volunteer run library for 30 years.

A great initiative Coastal Auto Group - well done !!
