The Scoty stableford competition held at Tuross Head Country Club on Saturday August 12th was easily won by Martin Booth with a high score of 44 points.
He was followed by Bruce Martin with 40 points.
Kane Duncan and Ian Wark both returned cards of 38 points and Ken Brown was awarded the remaining voucher with 37 points.
The coming Saturday event at Tuross Head is a par event and is the final game in the
triathlon series.
Nearest the pins were won by:
A grade player Al Gannon on the 4th hole with 3.39 m.
Brad Doolan won the 6th with 2.02 m and
Colin Houghton the 7th hole with 6.2 m.
B grade best on the 4th was Trevor Jones with 2.77 m. and
Martin Booth was awarded the 6th with 2.33 m
C grade golfer Kane Duncan won the 4th hole with 5.82 m and
Kane was also best on the 6th with 2.79 m.
Thursday’s stableford medley competition was won by Alan Elder with 40 points from Steve Johnston 39 on 39, Colin Houghton 37 and Trevor Jones 36 points.
Nearest the pins were won by:
Brad Doolan on the 4th hole with 1.47 m.
Peter Garn on the 6th with 3.04 m and
Al Gannon won the 7th with 9.40 m.
