THE Batemans Bay Mackay Park precinct redevelopment proposal


The accompanying documents for the Batemans Bay Mackay Park precinct redevelopment proposal are available to the public to read ahead of the public meetings set for Monday 21st in Batemans Bay.

The Draft Business Case, The Draft Concept Plan - Option 1 and the Draft Concept Plan - Option 2 are now available for the community to read.

http://www.esc.nsw.gov.au/inside-council/project-and-exhibitions/proposals/batemans-bay-mackay-park-precinct-redevelopment-proposal Council will be considering a draft business case and concept plans for 2 options for redevelopment of the Batemans Bay Mackay Park Precinct for a Regional Aquatic Centre and Arts and Cultural Facility at an Extraordinary Council meeting on 29 August 2017. Council will be deciding which of the two options to endorse for an application for grant funding from the NSW Government, due by 4 September 2017.

Community Information Sessions Interested residents can attend one of 2 community information sessions on Monday 21 August 2017 at the Hanging Rock Function Centre, Beach Road Batemans Bay. The first session commences at 2.30pm and the second commences at 6.00pm. The consultant who prepared the business case and concept plan options will give a presentation on the plans and there will be time for questions and answers after each presentation.

A separate information session will be held for the Sunset Committee and the members of the group they represent on the Monday morning.

NOTE: Comments were TRIALED - in the end it failed as humans will be humans and it turned into a pile of merde; only contributed to by just a handful who did little to add to the conversation of the issue at hand.
