Sheridan Batistic of the Batemans Bay BMX Club is over the moon having helped put together another BMX Open day on the Batemans Bay track. With hundreds of volunteer hours in track preparation and all of the organising it takes to host a State accredited event that saw over 350 riders attend from little ones through to International greats the Batemans Bay club members pushed through all the hurdles and the midnight hours to deliver a corker. Sheridan said of her fellow club members, organisers, volunteers, sponsors, the riders and the spectators "There are no words to describe how much fun our Open was this weekend!" Deb shaved the heads of many generous BMXers today who were super keen to support Sam's mate, Eli. Thank you so much to everyone who donated and lost their locks! A huge $565 was raised for Eli and his family! What an amazing BMX community we have!
