Official sod turning for Muddy Puddles Therapy Centre

Friday the 18th of August was a momentous day for Muddy Puddles with their turning of the sod ceremony to commence building the Muddy Puddles Therapy Centre. To begin the event Rod Slockee performed a welcome to country ceremony. To witness and participate in the turning of the sod were the Hon. Ray Williams, Minister for Disability and Councillor Rob Pollock and Mayor Liz Innes. The Muddy Puddles team made special mention of local businesses Raine & Horne of Batemans Bay, Armpell and Telmen Holdings for a very generous donation of $15,000 toward the build. Unfortunately due to windy weather which turned around his flight, the man who helped make all of it possible Member for Bega, Andrew Constance, was unable to be there in person though he was ably represented by his wife Jen.
