Friends of Durras members have fenced off a Pied Oystercatcher nesting site today at the Batemans Bay Marina. This is a regular nesting site for Pied Oystercatchers. These most spectacular shorebirds are listed as endangered here in NSW. There are approximately 250 Pied Oystercatchers remaining in NSW.
