If you haven’t already visited the Eurobodalla’s latest event, Sculpture on Clyde, you still have until this Sunday 3rd September to do so. The visitation and response to date has far exceeded all expectations!
The Batemans Bay grassy foreshore has been transformed with wonderful large works of art, whilst the old Ned Kelly store, just opposite in the main street, houses the smaller sculptures, 72 in total. The main winners were announced last Friday, opening day, but the People’s Choice is not awarded until Sunday afternoon, so you have the chance to suggest your favourite.
Also, the new permanent installation of the wonderful octopus, “Buoyansea” on beach road just to the south of town, is causing much excitement.
