Far South Coast District Bowling News.

On the 24th and 25th August the annual event the Anisse Nader Shield was held at Narooma Bowling Club.

President Margaret Naylor welcomed all who attended, and over the two days seven local clubs took part - Bermagui , Narooma, Tomakin, Malua Bay,Moruya, Dalmeny and Tuross Head. Each club had 10 team members and one reserve, who took part in seven games of each discipline - singles, pairs, triples and fours. The aim is to get as many shots as possible in each game, as the ultimate club winner is the one with the highest aggregate score.

There are section winners and these were:

Singles

Denise Lidbury

Tuross Head

Pairs

Bev Feehan / Jenny Blyth

Paula Hancock

Malua Bay

Triples

However, the ultimate winners on the day were the team from Tomakin, they were delighted to accept the trophy and take it back to their club for the next twelve months.
