Batemans Bay Betta gains NSW peer award

BSR Group has announced Batemans Bay Betta as their Betta Home Living Retailer of the Year for NSW at the 2017 conference held in Japan.

The Retailer of the Year award winner is determined from a range of criteria including branding, sales, service and community engagement.

The Batemans Bay store is owned and operated by Dominic & Melissa McClelland, and Geoff & Louise Hatton. The McClelland family first opened the Batemans Bay Betta store in 1976 as one of the first NSW Betta stores.

BSR Group Chief Executive Officer Mr Graeme Cunningham congratulated Dominic, Melissa, Geoff and Louise for their exceptional efforts over the past 12 months.

Cunningham goes onto explain “Our NSW Retailer of the Year has constantly showed exceptional commitment to looking after their local community as well as the Betta brand.”

“Betta Home Living continually works to offer excellent service to local communities and Batemans Bay has made a remarkable contribution to the success of the business over the past 12 months”. Geoff Hatton was delighted with the win. "We thank our loyal customers for their support. We are firm believers in Shopping Locally and strive to keep our local economy vibrant. We have expanded the range of products we have to further service the community and reduce their need to consider shopping outside of the area." "Thanks also go to our dedicated and professional staff who make the effort to be informed of all of our products and offer the most comprehensive, all-inclusive service possible ."
