Congratulations to the fifteen Broulee Surfers Surf Life Saving Club Nippers who completed their Surf Rescue Certificate (SRC).
They spent Friday evening and all day Saturday and Sunday leaning the skills they need to become Surf Life Savers this season and wear, for the first time, the patrol uniform. These Nippers are all Under 14's. This will be their last year of Nippers but the beginning of their Surf Life Saving journey as Life Savers. It is great to see them giving back to the community and giving up their time to patrol our beach this Summer. The club extends a HUGE thank you to Mick Lambert and Nick and Craig Goddard for giving up their entire weekend to put the 15 Nippers through their SRC training over the weekend. It's great volunteers like this that make Broulee Surfers Surf Life Saving Club so great and it is the dedication and commitment from the club members, organisers and fundraisers that sees the club so very well regarded and supported by the community. Well done to all.
