Visiting artist from Sydney, Alan Slade, recently gave a weekend Oil painting workshop at MACS Cottage. Both pupils - Robert Picknell of Bateman's Bay, and Mary Schick who recently moved to Narooma - were first-timers to oil painting and they produced their first work on canvas. They both enjoyed Alan's fine brush technique training, plus Alan's examples of highlighting and colour depth skills.
