Sharni, Mogo Zoo’s 11 year old Rothschild giraffe gave birth to a healthy little calf on Thursday morning. Attending the birth were Zoo owner Sally Padey, anxious keepers Annii Downing and Rob Clifford with vet Chantal Whitton at the ready. Via a video that captured the moment the birth was shared across the internet followed closely by a second of the calf up and feeding and exploring its new world.
