Just a quick message to the people of the shire: I undertook a wee while ago to try to get out on a regular basis, right across ALL of the Shire to meet people and hear their views and listen to their concerns. Now, after a few personal irritating interruptions are out of the way, I want to kick this off. I will be having a coffee/breakfast at Kosta's in Dalmeny at 9.30 a.m. on Saturday 23 September. If anyone wants to join me in a relaxed convivial way to discuss issues/concerns with me and each other, you are welcome and feel free free to invite non-beagle readers too. I've had some good suggestions about making this more widely known, but this will do for now. (Note: other councillors are most welcome to join me too) If this works out OK, in the next three years I can explore 36 coffee/breakfast places, meet lots of interesting people and have a better understanding of what the real issues are.
