SkyBlaze, the St Peter’s community fair and fireworks, is set to light up the sky from 3.30pm Friday 13th October at St Peter’s, 61 Train Street Broulee. Mrs Julie Wilks, President of the P&F promises that this year’s event will be even bigger and better by stating: “We will have more food and fun as not only will our favourite rides and stalls return, we now have Dodgem cars, The Zoomer, Spinning Teacups and the Giant Slide.” Other entertainment also includes BMX trials and stunts from Batemans Bay BMX club, Gymnastics exhibitions from Andre’s, Martial Arts demonstrations, Djembe Forte drum and dance and South Coast’s own punk funk band Pretty People. The food stalls will cater for everyone with favourites such as; nachos, chicken curries, pastas, salads and fairy floss. Once again, our ever-popular raffles provide a chance to win accommodation packages, café giveaways, dining and hair and beauty vouchers. Major cash prizes of $1000, $500 and $250 are also up for grabs. New activities include the Banksia Village’s $250 Kick for Cash, and Pop-A-Prize with $1500 of electrical goods from Betta Electrical ready for the taking! The jewel in the SkyBlaze crown is, of course, the fireworks display which proved to be a show-stopper in 2015. This year Moruya’s Skydive Oz will be completing an exhibition jump to set the scene before the final crescendo. Entry is free and unlimited ride passes available at the gate; or avoid the queues and pre-purchase from St Peter’s front office. For more information visit our website at http://www.skyblaze.com.au/
