Work has begun to construct a new shared pathway along the southern side of McMillan Road, Narooma.
The 2.5m wide pathway will provide a safe off-road option for pedestrians and cyclists, improving access to the shopping and recreational precincts as well as to the shared paths along Wagonga Inlet foreshore.
Council work crews are making good progress on the $140,000 project, which is jointly funded by Council and the NSW Roads and Maritime Service.
Council advises the work will be completed before the busy Christmas period.
