Road closure at highway and Broulee Road junction

Motorists won’t be able to turn into Broulee Road from the Princes Highway this Wednesday and Thursday while Council work crews complete road safety improvements.

Eurobodalla Council will commence safety improvement works at the highway end of Broulee Road this week.

The work involves widening the road shoulder and removing hazards from the clear-zone.

Entry to Broulee Road from the Princes Highway and the eastbound lane towards George Bass Drive will be closed to traffic between 7am and 3.30pm on Wednesday 11 October and Thursday 12 October to allow the work to take place.

Emergency vehicles and school buses will still have full access during this time.

The west-bound lane from George Bass Drive to the Princes Hwy will remain open, but minor delays could occur and traffic control will be in place.

During the closure, the nearest access from the highway to George Bass Drive is available from Tomakin Road at Mogo.

Vehicle message boards are in place on the highway and on George Bass Drive to advise motorists of the temporary traffic changes.

Motorists are asked to slow down and take notice of traffic control around the work site.
