The Tuross Head men's golf par 18 hole event, played in bright sunny weather, on a course presented in excellent condition, resulted in a win for Colin Fletcher with a score of plus 4.
He was followed by Peter Garn with plus 3.
Bruce Lidbury, David Gray and Colin Houghton followed with each player recording a score of plus 2.
Nearest the pin winners were:
A grade golfer Colin Houghton with 1.68 m on the 4th hole.
Steve Walker was closest on the 6th with 2.4 m and
Al Gannon was best on the 7th with 5.75 m.
B grade player Ian Manton won the 4th with 2.53 m.
Steve Swanbury the 6th with 4.3 m and
Greg Smith won the 7th hole with 4.94 m.
C grader Mick Elfar was closest on the 4th hole with 2.00 m.
Andrew Gordon was best on the 6th with 6.30 m and
Mick Elfar was also awarded the 7th hole with 9.9 m.
The coming Saturday competition is a 4BBB round.
Thursday's 18 hole medley stableford competition was won by
Wendy Smith with 41 points ahead of Ian Manton on a countback.
David Schmid 40 and Bruce Lidbury filled the remaining winning positions.
Nearest the pins went to David Gray with 1.98 m on the 4th hole.
Bruce Martin 1.63 m on the 6th and Colin Houghton with 1.17 m on the 7th.
