STATEMENT: SOUTH EAST REGIONAL HEALTH “Luke Foley had nothing to do with the delivery of this hospital, a service which I worked hard with the community to deliver. “Health Minister Brad Hazzard and I were there two weeks ago, and we are working around the clock to make sure our community, health workers and nurses get the level of service they deserve. “I will stand my record next to these people any day of the week in terms of delivering for our community. I haven’t seen any Labor representatives at any community events in the last two years. “Over the last 15 years, I’m proud to have worked with local campaigners to deliver major highway upgrades, hospitals, an ambulance station, the port – I’ll stand my record against those political hacks any day of the week. “Also, I would note that I didn’t see Luke Foley supporting Merimbula’s Cancer Council fundraiser this month. He’s nothing but a fly-by-nighter.” Media Release
