The proposal is DESIGNATED DEVELOPMENT pursuant to the Environmental Planning and Assessment Regulation 2000 because the proposed works are partly located within land identified under State Environmental Planning Policy No 14 as a coastal wetland.
The Environmental Impact Statement may be inspected free of charge during the exhibition period at:
Eurobodalla Shire Council’s Customer Service Centre, Cnr Campbell & Vulcan Streets, Moruya between 8.30am and 4.30pm
Batemans Bay Library between 10.00am and 5.00pm Monday to Friday, and between 9.30am and 12.00pm Saturday
and at the NSW Department of Planning offices at:
Information Centre, level 22, 320 Pitt Street Sydney
Illawarra South Coast Office, 84 Crown Street Wollongong.
Any person may make a written submission to Council during the exhibition period. If the submission is an objection to the development proposal, the grounds of the objection must be specified in the submission.
Unless a Commission of Inquiry is held, any person making a submission, and who is dissatisfied with Council's decision, may appeal to the Land and Environment Court. If a Commission of Inquiry is held, the Minister’s determination of the application is final and not subject to appeal.
