Eurobodalla Council will begin roadworks to improve safety on Eurobodalla Road from Monday 20 November.
The works will improve a 3.4km-stretch of the road, starting 600 metres west of the Princes Highway at Bodalla.
Works will involve establishing wider, sealed road shoulders, removing vegetation to improve visibility, installing roadside safety barriers and improving stormwater drainage where necessary.
The $357,000 project is thanks to funding from the Australian Government’s Black Spot Program.
Traffic control will be in place during the works, from 7am to 6pm weekdays, and motorists should expect minor delays.
Work will stop over the Christmas holidays and the upgrades are expected to be complete by 30 March 2018, weather permitting.
Council thanks motorists for their patience and for slowing down and obeying signage when driving in the area.
