Final preparations are now being made for Narooma’s Renewable Energy Expo and Forum on Saturday 25 November from 10am until 4pm.

This is a community project by the Rotary Club of Narooma Inc.
The 20 exhibitors to the Expo include solar hot water suppliers, battery suppliers, independent advisors on solar panel technologies and cutting costs and reducing emissions, advisors on investing in solar farms, some hybrid and electric cars, electric bikes, and battery operated tools like chainsaws.’
Narooma school students projects on more efficient lids for school rubbish bins will also feature. The Expo will be officially opened by Member for Eden Monaro Dr Mike Kelly at 10.30 am.
Saturday night’s fascinating Expo Forum at Club Narooma (starts at 7.00pm, entry free) features three speakers, all leaders in their field. They are:
Kylie Hitchman from ClearSky Solar
Caleb Fisher from Divall Constructions in Goulburn
Mark Shorter, Sustainability Coordinator with Eurobodalla Shire Council.
A panel discussion will follow with a wide range of experts.
