Eurobodalla Council will soon start work on a new footpath in Mogo to improve pedestrian access between parking areas and the Mogo shopping precinct.
The 85-metre path along Tomakin Road will connect the Charles Street car park to the Princes Highway and Mogo’s main street footpaths.
Work will begin Monday 27 November. There will be minimal disruption to traffic, however parking will be prohibited along Tomakin Road from the Princes Highway to the Charles Street car park during the works. Pedestrians will be redirected through the gravel car park.
Council’s crews will be working hard to get the path complete or to a stage where safe pedestrian access is available in time for the Mogo village Christmas gala on Saturday 9 December.
