Nelligen Mobile Base Station-Official Launch 11 December

Nelligen Progress Association are very pleased to advise that the official launch of the Nelligen mobile base station (under the Australian Government’s Mobile Black Spot Program) will take place at 11am on Monday 11 December at the Mechanics Institute Hall of Nelligen.

For those unfamiliar with the facts of reaching this significant milestone, funding for the Nelligen mobile base station was announced 25 June 2015. The Mobile Black Spot Program is a co-funded initiative with Telstra, the Australian Government and the NSW State Government.

Telstra further advise: “Nelligen is one of 577 mobile coverage black spots across regional and rural Australia benefiting from expanded 3G/4G mobile coverage provided by Telstra under this program.

Expanding coverage to the region ensures locals can keep in contact with family and friends and run their businesses more effectively, whether it’s making and receiving voice calls or using a range of online services over Telstra’s fast mobile network.

The launch will be an opportunity to celebrate the new and improved coverage and the successful partnership between Telstra, the Australian Government and State Government”.
