Church Street in Moruya between the highway and the Post Office will be closed overnight to traffic next week while Eurobodalla Council rebuilds the road.
The work will be done at night between 6pm and 6am to minimise disruption to businesses and the community.
Construction starts on Sunday 3 December and good weather permitting, should be complete by 6am on Friday 8 December.
Parking will not be permitted in Church Street between the highway and the Post Office at night, and Council is asking locals to please remove their vehicles before 6pm each night.
Parking and access for pedestrians and traffic will be restored during regular trading hours, however there might be minor disruptions and changes to road surface levels while the works are underway.
The project is part of Council’s road network renewal program, and will see the underlying road material removed and replaced with a stronger pavement and new surface.
