Eurobodalla Shire Council will undertake clearing and road safety works on Araluen Road next week following a recent rock slip.
The slip occurred on Tuesday 28 November 2017 following recent rainfall.
Council cleared the rock from the roadway on the night of the fall to keep the road open and ensure residents retained access.
The remedial works are planned to mitigate the risks of rock falls and will include putting up warning signs.
Work will begin on Wednesday 13 December and continue until Friday 22 December.
Motorists on Araluen Road can expect delays during the works.
Emergency message boards will be erected on Araluen Road to alert the community about expected delays as work progresses. Nearby residents have been notified by direct mail.
Council asks motorists to take care in the area while the works are underway. Media Release
