A busy and eventful year came to a close for the Narooma Camera Club with the Image of the Year competition (held on 6 December) and the annual dinner and trophy presentation night.
Our judge for the Image of the Year was Peter Robinson who founded the Narooma Camera Club and who brought over 50 years of experience into his judging. Our thanks go to Peter whose critiquing was very informative, constructive, helpful to members and delivered with some with humour.
The Image of the Year competition was Open category and the results were as follows:

On 13 December the club held its annual dinner and trophy presentation at Club Narooma. Our thanks go to the club staff for the great service that we received.
During the dinner, members viewed an hour long DVD of photographs from around Australia. The DVD was put together for the Moruya hospital and is on display in the main waiting room there. It comprises over 400 photographs contributed by members of the Narooma Camera Club and the Eurobodalla Photographic Club.
After the dinner members tackled a photographic travel quiz which required them to identify world famous landmarks from small sections of photographs.
Trophies were presented to the Division A and Division B winners of the Image of the Year competition.
Trophies were also presented to those members who accumulated most points in the club’s monthly competitions during 2017. The results were as follows:
