The last Saturday Tuross Head Country Club men's golf competition was won by Ian McManus. Ian had a high 44 points in the 18 hole stableford event.
Paul Ferguson finished in second placing with 39 points edging out Paul Scholze on a countback.
Visiting junior golfer Lachlan Nordsvan finished with a very creditable 37 points and Bruce Brawn filled the remaining award spot, also scoring 37 points.
Nearest the pins were won by:
A grade golfer Michael Nordsvan with 1.00 m on the 4th hole.
Michael was also closest on the 6th with 3.70 m.
Colin Houghton won the 7th with 2.10 m.
B grade best on the 4th hole was Bruce Lidbury with 3.48m.
Peter Nikolic was closest on the 6th with 1.45m and
Reg Apps was awarded the 7th hole with 8.90 m.
C grade player Bruce Brawn was closest on the 4th with 5.29 m.
and Gerry Strickland won the 6th with 2.10 m.
The coming Saturday event will be the monthly stroke and putt monthly medal competition.
Thursday's weekly 18 hole stableford medley competition was won by Beverley Theobald with 37 points ahead of Peter Mostyn, Steve Johnston and Greg Smith who all scored 37 points as well, but were relegated to minor positions on a countback.
Nearest the pins were awarded to Greg Smith with 1.17 m on the 4th hole,
Dave Gray with 2.24 on the 6th and Leigh Coloe with 3.10 m on the 7th.
