With many regular Vets players away for the Christmas break a small field of 39 players registered for this morning's Par event. Our numbers were bolstered by several first timers at Tuross together with returning visitors, including 11 year old Lachlan Nordsvan who plays pennants for the Fairbairn Golf Club in Canberra. Results on the day were as follows:
1st: Vets Captain Ian Miller with a return to form score of +4.
2nd: Long time veteran Paul Pereira with +3 on count back.
3rd: Regular holiday visitor and "junior" veteran Lachlan Nordsvan, also with +3.
Ball or Chocolate:
Noel Fletcher, Jennifer Gray, Steve Swanbury and Greg Smith, all with +2, Mike Birks and Lisa Nordsvan with +1, and finally Gail Rogers on square.
Bradman Award:
There was a five way count back required to determine this week's winner, but Allen Gannon ultimately took home the prize.
Nearest the Pins:
4th: Greg Smith, in the hole.
6th: Lachlan Nordsvan.
Ladies 7th: Gail Rogers.
Men's 7th: Paul Pereira.
Accuracy Award:
The award this week went to Derek Hoare.
