Community Voice Eurobodalla spokesperson Councillor Anthony Mayne is asking is it time for a Cat Curfew
Time to lobby State Government NSW to introduce legislation for a Cat Curfew.
Protecting our wild life and magnificent environment on the Eurobodalla - South Coast NSW. Cheers to the great work already being done by Eurobodalla Shire Council, WIRES, RSPCA Eurobodalla Volunteer Branch.
Seeking public feedback via Social Media might be one of the ways that the Community Voice Eurobodalla group who endorsed Councillor Mayne will use to indicate they have undertaken public consultation when and if they put up a Notice of Motion seeking Council's endorsement of the idea and suggesting that Council begin to lobby the State Government to legislate the curfew.
Once legislated Council would then be able to add the curfew to their Companion Animal Plan and then enforce any breaches with fines.
Be sure to go to their post on the Community Voice Eurobodalla Facebook page and let them know what your opinion of a curfew is. https://www.facebook.com/communityvoiceeurobodalla/
