Another near record crowd of 73 players registered for this morning's 4BBB Stableford event. Fortunately the lightning, thunder and hail from yesterday afternoon held off for what turned out to be a beautiful morning for golf. Results on the day were as follows:
1st: Lee Ridgway and Rick Brake with 27 points on count back.
2nd: Robert McKirdy and Michael Kermode also on 27.
3rd: Sandra and Ron Hanlon with 26 points on count back.
Ball or Chocolate:
Terry Lunn and Barry Hoban on 26, Frank Pomfret and Kevin Dukes on 25, Noel Fletcher and Ross Hendy, Ann and Bruce Ware, and Jeanette and Ian Miller, all on 23, and finally Leonie Snodgrass together with Dorothy Madden, and Andrew Gordon teamed with Terry Challender, both winning with 22 points on count back.
Bradman Award:
Solveig Olsson and Rene Robertson were today's unfortunate winners of the infamous award.

Annette Manton pipped a long drive by Allen Gannon with a shorter, but more accurate, drive alongside the centre string line.
