Batemans Bay Queen's Baton Relay on Tuesday 6 February 2018 from 9.30am – 11.30am.


It's less than a week to go folks until the Batemans Bay Queen's Baton Relay on Tuesday. The Queen’s Baton Relay will visit Batemans Bay on Tuesday 6 February 2018 from 9.30am – 11.30am.

Cheer on the batonbearers as they make their along the Relay route – just make sure you're at your vantage point by 10.15am. Alternatively, hop on a bike!

The Baton will leave from Batemans Bay Primary School at 9.30am and make its way across the Clyde River at 10am, then down Clyde Street, Orient Street and Beach Road arriving at Corrigans Beach at 11am before it departs by Seaplane to continue its journey to Tasmania. The community is encouraged to support the batonbearers along the route by lining the streets Starting at 9.30am and then, join in the community celebration at Corrigans Beach Reserve from 10am. Entertainment will include comedian and Gold Coast 2018 super-fan "Games Boy ’18" Sean Murphy, who will lead crowds on a hilarious, interactive exploration into the spirit of the Commonwealth Games. Fun for young and old, audiences will learn a little and laugh a lot in a show that takes history, sport and silliness to new heights
