Commonwealth Games' Torch runner - Sharon Himan

One of Yumaro's longest Employees, Sharon Himan is about to take part in the Commonwealth Games' Torch Ceremony. The Yumaro crew are incredibly proud of Sharon and are delighted to see her selected and running to represent herself and the wider community. A Yumaro spokesperson told the Beagle "Sharon was nominated by her sister, Nicole who lives in WA." "Nicole loves her sister very much and says that Sharon always makes the most of her life despite her disability. "Sharon has been competing in the Special Olympics for over 20 years in Swimming, 10 Pin Bowling and Running which will definitely come in handy on Tuesday 6th February when she will run at 8:45am with the torch in Batemans Bay. The distance will be 200m from the corner of Orient St and Beach Road at the traffic lights and will finish at 8 Beach Road and pass the torch onto the next runner. "Sharon has always worked hard her at Yumaro and has been here since the beginning over 20 years ago! "She is also the STAR of our new TV Ads which now air on Channel 7 especially during Home & Away, My Kitchen Rules and Sunrise. "Everyone here at Yumaro loves Sharon, especially her sense of humour and dedication to work ethics. "Congratulations Sharon! You are "making history" in our books!"
