New History signs for Tomakin

You may have noticed some new signs which have appeared in Tomakin just recently. The Tomakin Community Association, having received a community development grant award from the NSW Government, have had three history signs developed to inform both residents and tourists about the history of Tomakin. The Eurobodalla Shire Council has very kindly installed these signs and they can be seen at Melville Point, Jack Buckley Park and on the path to the toilet block and beach at the boat ramp. The Association will be organising a formal “unveiling” , probably for the afternoon of the 16th March and they will update the Tomakin community all with information on this shortly. Be sure to follow the TCA via their Facebook page here: Tomakin Community Association

NOTE: Comments were TRIALED - in the end it failed as humans will be humans and it turned into a pile of merde; only contributed to by just a handful who did little to add to the conversation of the issue at hand. Anyone who would like to contribute an opinion are encouraged to send in a Letter to the Editor where it might be considered for publication
