BATEMANS BAY
South Coast District Police conducted an operation over the weekend 10, 11 March 2018, targeting drug and alcohol offences in the Batemans Bay, Moruya and Narooma areas.
A drug detection dog was also utilised.
374 driver roadside breath tests were conducted. One driver was detected with mid range PCA and charged at Batemans Bay Police Station Saturday afternoon.
There were five detections for cannabis. The drugs were located during vehicle searches.
Also a quantity of MDMA was seized at a Moruya hotel and a 24 year old Denhams Beach man has been charged with Supply prohibited drug.
A 34 year old man has been charged with Assault police, Resist arrest and Offensive language after an incident outside a hotel in Batemans Bay around midnight 9 March 2018.
A 29 year old female has also been issued criminal infringement notices for Offensive language and Excluded person remain in the vicinity of a licence premises.
