Roads and Maritime Services advises motorists changed traffic conditions will be in place next week on the Princes Highway at Mogo.
Investigation work which involves digging as well as drilling will be carried out to inform future maintenance requirements.
Work will take place on Monday 19 March between 6pm and 5am, weather permitting.
Lane closures, traffic control and a reduced speed limit of 40 km/h will be in place for the safety of workers and motorists.
Motorists are advised to drive to the conditions and follow the directions of signs and traffic control. Roads and Maritime thanks motorists for their patience during this time.
