Dream a Little Sellers Art Prize

Young people aged between five and 18 are invited to draw upon their artistic talents for this year’s Little Sellers Art Prize.

A companion to the biennial Basil Sellers Art Prize, Little Sellers is held every year and celebrates the region’s budding artists and offers great prizes.

Council’s Coordinator Creative Arts Development Indi Carmichael said the prize was in its third year and continued to get bigger and better.

“Last year we had 200 entries across the four age categories, which is an amazing effort and a testament to our creative community,” she said.

“This year’s theme is ‘My Dream’ and we’re encouraging the artists to interpret it in a way that is meaningful to them. We can’t wait to see what they come up with.”

Six finalists from each category will have their work framed and exhibited in Eurobodalla Libraries in October, while the exhibition opening and announcement of the winners will be held in September.

Entries are now open and close Friday 29 June. Entry forms are available on Council’s website http://www.esc.nsw.gov.au/living-in/about/arts and at local libraries and schools.
