Art Central offers an excellent opportunity to participate in a demonstration of painting using an air-brush, Monday 26th March, 2018 from 1pm – 3pm at Art Central. Advocate for Children and Young People (ACYP) has launched the NSW Youth Week 2018 T-shirt Design Competition as part of Youth Week. We ask that you encourage young people in your networks to engage their creative side and draw, paint, or digitally create a design, to put on a t-shirt, inspired by the 2018 NSW Youth Week theme – Unity Through Diversity. Join South East Arts for JOY: Opera in the Gardens Concert en plein air Opera in the Gardens at Shirley, a working farm near Nimmitabel, 14 April, 2.00pm — 4.30pm.


Be charmed, delighted and entertained by the glorious voice of renowned opera singer Tobias Cole, artistic director of Canberra opera company Handel in the Theatre. The concert is a fundraising event for South East Arts’ Swell: Arts and Health program. Arts and Health is the practice of using arts to improve health and wellbeing, as well as enhancing health care experiences for patients and their support networks. As part of the Eurobodalla’s River of Art Festival, Bodalla’s Artisans Nest Gallery will hold an exhibition of unique garments and other wares created by its members from vintage textiles, recycled denim, and fabrics dyed with all manner of blue plants including indigo.
