Graeme Sindel wins Tuross Head par event


Tuross Head Country Club men's golf par competition was won by Graeme Sindel with an excellent round of golf, resulting in a plus 4 win.

Graeme edged out Ian Kingston on a countback.

Tony Russell finished third with a plus 3.

Michael Kermode plus 3 and Roger Chappell plus 2 filled the remaining voucher winning spots.

A highlight of the day was Leigh Coloe's eagle on the 10th hole.

Nearest the pins were won by A grade players:

Leigh Coloe on the 4th hole with 1.42 m.

Dave Gray was best on the 6th with 4.55 m and

Peter Keogh won the 7th with 9.4 m.

B grade golfer John Phyland won the 4th with 0.33 m.

Russell Taylor the 6th with 6.80 m and

Steve Swanbury was best on the 7th hole with 8.8 m.

C grade was won by Steve Crossley with 9.74 m.

Graeme Sindel was closest on the 6th hole with 3.57 m and

Michael Kermode was awarded the 7th with 7.15 m.
