Roads and Maritime Services advises motorists changed traffic conditions will be in place today April 10th on the Princes Highway at Batemans Bay Bridge.
Testing work and monthly servicing will be carried out on the bridge lift span between 8pm and 11pm. The aim of testing is to ensure the reliable operation of the bridge opening system.
Bridge operators will also be trained to ensure any incidents experienced with the lift system can be quickly fixed, reducing delays for motorists and marine traffic.
Motorists are advised to plan their journey, with delays of up to 15 minutes expected while testing takes place.
Motorists are advised to drive to the conditions and follow the directions of signs and traffic control. Roads and Maritime thanks the community for its patience while work is carried out.
