A great day was had at Mackay Park on Sunday.. Five games of football were played with Batemans Bay coming out on top in 3 games The Batemans Bay ladies league tag teams are getting stronger and quicker under the watchful eye of Rod Wright and it is clear that his knowledge of the game has developed the girls team since taking over as coach. They played 2 games in the hot Autumn sun and beat both teams. There are too many good players to isolate one for special mention..they truly are playing as a team and deserve all congratulations. After a mammoth wait the new look First Grade team came on to the park and looked the goods early on. The Tigers new signings of Luke Farmer, Peter Letts and Sean Deaves combined with the local players and made the crowd come alive watching the Tigers rip the Bega Roosters apart.

The score probably didn't reflect the dominance the Tigers had.
