Firstly: TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE FOR SPECIAL EVENT – ANZAC DAY MARCHES Wednesday 25 April 2018 To allow Anzac Day marches to be conducted safely and with respect, the following roads will be temporarily closed: Batemans Bay 10am to 11.30am Orient Street between Beach Road and North Street and Clyde Street between North Street and the Cenotaph Moruya 5.15am to 6.15am Mirrabooka Avenue and Page Street between Campbell Street and Queen Street 10.45am to 11.30am Shore Street western end, Vulcan Street between Shore and Mirrabooka Avenue, Mirrabooka Avenue and Page Street between Campbell Street and Queen Street Narooma 10.45am to 11.15am (approximately) Princes Highway from the Visitors Information Centre to Wharf Street. Council and event organisers apologise for any inconvenience caused by the temporary road closures.All motorists and pedestrians must follow directions of traffic controllers.For more information about the road closures, please contact Andrew Gillies on 0418 756 88 Anzac Day Services (alphabetical) Batemans Bay 5:45am: Assembly at the Honour Stone in Clyde Street. 6:00am: Dawn Service 10:00am: Marchers form in the car park of the Batemans Bay Soldiers Club and step off at 10.10am to march along Orient St to the Honour Stone. 10:30am: ANZAC Service at the Honour Stone. Bergalia 9:00am ANZAC Service at the War Memorial. Central Tilba 10:45am Assemble outside Drom Hotel 11:00am: March down Bate Street with service at the Cenotaph Moruya 5:45am step off: Dawn Service at the War Memorial outside RSL Hall. 10:45am: Form up for town march in the carpark back of Adelaide Hotel 11:00am: March to the RSL Hall followed by ANZAC Service Narooma 5:55am: Dawn Service at Club Narooma with breakfast at Club from 6.30am 10:45am: Assemble at the Narooma Visitors Information Centre Step off to march along Princes Hwy from the Visitors Information Centre to Wharf St. The march will be conducted under police escort 11:00am: ANZAC Service and Wreath Laying at the War Memorial. 12:00pm Two Up at Club Narooma Nelligen 10:50am: Assemble at the Mechanics Institute Hall, Braidwood Street. 11:00am: March up to ANZAC Commemoration Service at the Cenotaph 12:00pm: Lunch will be held in the Mechanics Institute Hall. Tomakin 7:00 am: Assemble at the Rivermouth Café 6:50am then march to the Tomakin Sports and Social Club for ANZAC Service. Breakfast will be available after service with Two-up at Club from 1.30-4.30pm. Tuross Head 5.45am: DAWN SERVICE at Tuross Head Memorial Gardens 6.45am: ANZAC Diggers Breaky at THCC 10.30am: Assemble at Birdwood Circle for 11am March to THCC down Allenby Road 1pm-2pm: Entertainment and lunch in the The Lounge 2pm TWO-UP: in the THCC Beer Garden
