SHASA to help community facilities in the Eurobodalla get free solar system

The Eurobodalla's South Coast Health and Sustainability Alliance (SHASA), is excited to announce that Micro Energy Systems Australia has donated to SHASA a 3-4kW solar system to install on a community owned facility in the Eurobodalla. The system offers quality Australian made Tindo Karra panels with SolaX Inverter technology installed by an accredited Industry specialist.

Kathryn Maxwell, Chair of SHASA said If you are a community organisation that could benefit from day time energy generated from solar then SHASA would like to hear from you. For community groups with significant day time electricity usage the savings could be up to $1,500 per annum in electricity costs. SHASA would like to thank Micro Energy Systems Australia for their generosity.

SHASA is also keen to assist community organisations in the Gilmore Electorate to submit grant applications for the Federal Government's Solar Communities Program. The program will fund up to 100% of eligible expenditure up to $12,500.

Kathryn Maxwell, Chair of SHASA said “funds are limited so community organisations need to get their applications in as fast as possible”. SHASA will assist community organisations to complete their application forms.”
