Our Council Officials including the Mayor have gotten very large sections of the Shire’s Community off side. Council has not got the trust of many if any in the community. A large percentage of the shires residents moved to live in the shire because it has been promoted as a place be and enjoy life. How disappointed some who’ve moved to the area are. Our Councillors and Senior Council staff need to get out among the community and have open discussions with the areas residents and hear for them selves what people are saying. Rising costs are having major effects in residents. Many of the rising costs are directly related to Council, Government Policy and attitudes of our politicians including our elected Councillors and their attitudes.
Very few people agree with the sale of public assets or privatisation of public assets and are now paying a lot more for the privatised services.
Attitudes of our Councillors and Local State and Federal members need to change in favour of community respect very quickly.
